EMIR OF MINNA APPLAUD NIGER STATE EDUCATION POLICIES,
The Emir of Minna, Alhaji Dr. Umar Faruk Bahago, has expressed satisfaction with the policies introduced by the Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Hadiza Asabe Mohammed especially in the areas of education and community development
The Emir stated this yesterday, during a royal homage paid on him by the Commissioner and the management of the Ministry.
Alh. Dr. Umar Faruk Bahago, known for his keen interest in education and community development, welcomed the delegation with open arms and commended the Commissioner’s good intentions and called for the support of her initiatives.
The Monarch highlighted the importance of a strong partnership between the education sector and traditional institutions, emphasizing that the success of educational reforms required the collective efforts of all stakeholders.
He therefore called on the community, parents, and teachers to rally round the Commissioner for her good intentions and work together to ensure the successful implementation of the policies.
Earlier, in her submission, the Commissioner shared the details of the policies aimed at improving the quality of education, enhancing access, and promoting overall development in the State.
She emphasized the importance of collaboration between the education sector and traditional institutions, seeking the Emir’s guidance and support in implementing these policies effectively.
The Commissioner and the ministry management expressed their gratitude for the Emir’s endorsement and pledged to work tirelessly to achieve the desired outcomes.
