HAVE FAITH IN NIGERIA – DR KHALIL MOHAMMED

An Abuja based medical practitioner Dr khalil Mohammed has called on Nigerians to have faith in the renewed hope of the present administration despite the multiple challenges facing the country.
Dr. Khalil made the call during the commissioning of a library and studies center named after Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru, who was the chief of staff to Brig. General Mohammed Idris Abdulkadir, the event took place at the NUT END WELL Science college in Minna at the weekend.
The medical practitioner who made the call while Delivering a paper titled “Exploring The Indomitable IBB” said Nigerians should have strong belief and hope that the country would surmount the challenges it is passing through
According to him, many nations of the world have passed through different kinds of political and social economic challenges yet they were able to surmount it insisting that Nigeria as a developing nation would not be an exception.
” America with the biggest democracy of over two thousand years of her political history have passed through worst challenges but they still came out of it and remain stronger today among the commity of Nations,”
Nigeria with its nascent democracy will continue to learn from her mistakes calling on the people not to loose hope as all the challenges currently facing us as a Nation will be history if not in our life time, it will be our children’s time” he assured.
He explained that lack of patriotism by the citizens were responsible for some of the factors militating against the political and social economic development of the country noting that the citizens should
imbibe the culture of patriotism.
Dr Khail Mohammed commended Umar Adamu Ndanusa for taking the bold step to immortalize his uncle Late Brig. General Mohammed Idris Abdulkadir by naming the library and the IBB studies center after him calling on other younger generations of his age to borrow a leaf from his foresight.
He also said that education and research institutes across the country should take advantage of the IBB Studies center by carrying out research works that would be of benefits to the country
In his remarks the principal of the NUT END WELL Science College. Dr. Gabriel Ogah applauded the forsight of the college headboy Umar Adamu Ndanusa for establishing and immortizing his late uncle with the studies center in the college.
He said the College will partner with some institutions across the country in the area of research and the achievements recorded by IBB during his eight years as the military president of Nigeria
