Lay Emphasis on commercial education from kindergarten level,-Etsu Nupe.

The Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger state Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar said Education is the surest and quickest way towards attaining rapid development of the Nation.
Etsu NUPE stated this at the official commissioning of four classroom block ,offices and modern toilets built by Sunti Sugar Company donated to Saints Mathias Anglican Church Kusogi community in Mokwa local government area of the State
He said all hands must be on deck from all tiers of government, parents and corporate organisations across the country to give priority to Education with more emphasis on commercial Education.
According to the Emir Education is the main factors in Nation’s development more emphasis should be given to commercial Education where different skills will be thought from infantry in order to de-emphasize the search for white collar jobs after graduating.
Alh Yahaya further explained that the Nation will be an employer of labour after being exposed to commercial Education right from the kindergarten level, and called on the parents in the Community to enrol their wards in the school to acquire Western Education.
He reminded parents the importance of Child Education and urged them to give priority to Girl Child education in order not to be relegated to the background in the society.
The Etsu Nupe who was represented by the Ndaceko Nupe, Alhaji Baiwa Mohammed commended the Management of Sunti Sugar for its kind gesture and called on all other corporate organizations within the state to emulate the Company as part of their Corporate Social Responsibilities within the Communities they might find themselves.
Also in his address, the General Manager of Sunti Sugar Company, Mr. Anlo Du Pisani, said the project was part of the Corporate Social Responsibilities of the Company towards developing their immediate constituency and to encourage mutual co-existence between the Company and the community.
Mr. Pisani recalled that in August 2022, the Company conducted an independent assessment needs of its host community to identify priority areas for development out of which Education was given priority, adding that the project was funded majorly by the company and a foreign donor at a cost of over N27 Million.
The Bishop of kutigi Anglican Diocese, Bishop Jeremiah Kolo thanked the Company for the kind gesture in completing the project describing it as a monumental achievement not only for the community but the entire state.
Commissioning the project ,the Chairman, Mokwa local government Counci,Alhaji Jibrin Muregi,commended the efforts of the company in fulfilling corporate social responsibilities to the host community,and directed the Education Secretary of the Council to provide 50 chairs and tables to the school as well as deployment of teachers to complement efforts of the company.
