CHRISTMAS : COMMERCIAL VEHICLES TOLD TO OBEY TRAFFIC RULES AND REGULATIONS

BY Danladi Hassan Idris

Motorists, particularly commercial vehicles, have been admonished to obey all traffic rules and regulations always especially during this busy month of December.

The Executive Director, Niger State Motor Vehicle Administration Engr Muhammad Danladi Bako, who gave the admonition in a statement in his office in Minna, maintained that motorists needed to be extra careful on the road now due to the increase of vehicular movement during Christmas and New Year festivities.

Engr Muhammad Danladi Bako, explained that most of the accidents on our roads was due to human error including over speeding, failure to obey traffic rules, drunkenness and over loading of vehicle.

He however pointed out that the agency has been working tirelessly to educate and train drivers at various workshops being organized by the outfit on the need to conform with traffic rules and regulations in order to drastically minimise carnage on the roads..

Engr Danladi commended the state Governor, Hon. Muhammad Umaru Bago, for the maximum support accorded the agency in carrying out its duties effectively.
