NIGER STATE PENSION BOARD TO PAY ALL PENSIONERS WITHOUT DELAY

The Niger State Pension Board has assured retirees in the state of prompt payment of theirĀ benefits without delay amidst the ongoing verification exercise for all categories of retired civil servants in the state
The Director General of the board, Alhaji Nasiru Saidu Namas who made this known in a statement in Minna said the board is not unmindful of the welfare of the state pensioners.
Alhaji Nasir Namaska pointed out that the state government is more than ready to ensure that all the entitlement of the pensioners were not denied.
On the ongoing pensions verification exercise, the Director General expresses satisfaction with the process, adding the programme would be completed as schedule and that only the pensioners who have been captured would be paid their gratuity.
He called on the pensioners to exercise patience and turn up on time while cooperating with the officials handling the exercise for successful verification.
Alhaji Nasiru Namaska commended Governor Umaru Bago for prioritizing the welfare of pensioners in the state by ensuring that what was due to them were not denied.
