A Respected member of the Ebira People Association EPA Niger state chapter Mallam Mohammed Ozi Alfa Suleiman okengwe has expressed his appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello for appointing a young Islamic scholar as the 4th Ohinoyi of Ebiraland
Mallam Mohammed who is currently a member of the organising committee for the ceremonial cultural display in Minna come February over the victory of the governor Elect. Alhaji Usman Ododo noted that the appointment of HRH Alhaji Dr Ahmed Tijani Anaje would forster peace and unity in Ebiraland
According to him ” The entire people of Ebìraland both at home and in the diaspora are more than happy with what Governor Yahaya Bello has done to the people of Ebiraland and all the sons and daughters would remain ever grateful to the governor
The New monarch who had a brief military background was picked out of the 71 contestant that vie for the coveted stoll
Mallam Mohammed who was highly elated while speaking with Journalists in Minna stated that the economic, social and political life of the people of Ebiraland would witness a tremendous improvement with the coming of the new Emir
He then said a serious campaign would be launched before the presentation of staff of office to the new ohinoyi to make the people aware that this is a king that the Lord have chosen to give direction for the progress of the Ebiraland
” We hope to carry out enlightenment among our people to know that what Governor Yahaya Bello has done in this appointment is unprecedented and the people too need to cooperate with the new king so that his reign will bring peace ” he concluded.
