GRADUATING INMATES FROM MINNA CORRECTIONAL CENTRE TOLD TO BE GOOD AMBASSADOR

The Chief Judge of Niger State Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik has called on the graduating inmates of the old Minna Correctional Custody to utilize the knowledge they acquired while serving their jail terms to better their lives

She told the inmates to see their incarceration in the correctional facility as destined by God stating that their staying in the correctional center has reformed them to be a better person in the society.

Speaking at the Quranic walimat graduation of seventeen inmates of the old Minna medium Security Custodian Center at the weekend Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik noted that their stay in the Custodian Center has brought them closer to their creator.

The chief Judge who was represnted by the Deputy Chief registrar in-charge of Magistrate in the state Judiciary Alhaji Hassan Mohammed urged them to make proper use of their knowledge of the Glorious Quran to  be good ambassador of the society.

According to the chief Judge,the knowledge of the Glorious Quran  aqcuired should be seen as an opportunity stressing that with the knowledge they should see themselves as reform citizens of their land.

While appealing to them to steer clear from any act that will be inimical to the knowledge already gotten Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik told the graduating inmates to see their staying in the correctional center as a blessing in disguise adding that those outside could hardly get the opportunity they have gotten.

The chief donated a total of seventeen praying carpets, seventeen Holy Quran and cash amount N51,000 to be share among the graduating images,while the two of the their teachers to share the sum of N25,000 among themselves.
