DEPOSED VILLAGE HEAD OF MUYE GRANTED BAIL BY MINNA MAGISTRATE COURT

The deposed village head Amana Kakada Muye Abdulkadir Mohammed Maigari has been granted bail by the Minna Chief Magistrate court Number One Hajiya Ummulkhatum Mohammed.
The deposed Amana Kakada Muye was earlier arraigned on the 6th February, 2024, before the court by the men of the Niger State Police Command on eight count charges which bothered on inciting public disturbance among others.
During his last arraignment before the chief Magistrate he was ordered to be remanded on the order of the chief Magistrate his counsel Barrister Mohammed Musa Ndako made an oral application for his bail which was objected to by Chief Magistrate Hajiya Ummulkhatum Mohammed.
She directed him to formally apply for his bail on the ground that some of the charges he was being charged for is not ordinarily bailable.
Ruling on the bail application Monday, Chief Magistrate Hajiya Ummulkhatum Mohammed granted him bail in the sum of Ten milion naira with three surety in the like sum.
She said the sureties must reside within the Jurisdiction of the court and to deposit the recent passport photo graph.
Chief Magistrate Ummulkhatum Mohammed further ordered that the deposed Monarch must enter a written Bond of good conduct and to maintain peace in the community.
She then adjourned the case to eleven March 2024 for further hearing.
