RAMADAN: NIGER SSG URGES MUSLIMS TO PRAY FOR THE STATE
Muslims in Niger State have been called upon to use the holy month of Ramadan to pray to God for the rapid development and progress of the State.
This was contained in theĀ Ramadan message of Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman.
The SSG enjoined Muslim faithfuls to conduct themselves in an orderly manner during and afterĀ the holy month with a view to maximizing the spiritual and physical benefits inherent in the month.
Alhaji Usman reminded Nigerlites that Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam and enjoined Muslims to accord it all the necessary attention by being proactive in actions that will ensure their full participation in the fast.
He admonished Muslim scholars to educate their audience of what is expected of Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan in order to earn God’s blessings,
