Kebbi Govt. mourns prominent politician, Junaidu Wasagu

 

The Kebbi State Government has condoled with the Wasagu Chiefdom, the family and good people of Zuru emirate over the death of a prominent politician, Hon. Junaidu Dahiru Wasagu, Fagachin Wasagu, who lost his life on Monday, after a brief illness.

The State Deputy Governor, Sen. Umar Abubakar-Tafida led government delegation on the condolence visit at the deceased’s residence in Birnin Kebbi.

Abubakar-Tafida described the demise of late Junaidu Wasagu as a great loss not only to his family but to the good people of Kebbi State, considering his immense contribution to the development of the state.

He prayed Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, grant him Jannatul Firdausi and give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Late Junaidu Wasagu, aged 46, left behind one wife and four children and he was buried according to Islamic rites.

Other members of the government delegation included the State Head of Service, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba-Bena, Hon commissioner for information and Culture Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK among other top government officials.
