The intertribal groups in Niger state have pledged their loyalty to Governor Umar Bago for his commitment to the developmental strides, peace building, and crime prevention initiatives.
The High Chief,who is also the Secretary of intertribal in the state and Coordinator political mobilisation in the office of governor Umar Bago,Chief Casmiar Obialom stated this in a statement in MINNA.
He said the coming of governor Bago as the governor of Niger state has no doubt distinguish himself as an excellent leader whose ideaology is to sacrifice and serve the people of the state to actualise the new Niger agenda.
Prof Obialom further explained that the intertribal groups in the state under the leadership of Oba George Dike, special adviser to the governor on intertribal matters decided not to be silent about Farmer governor Bago’s saveral initiative,but to rather throw our support on his efforts to improve the wellbeing of the entire Nigerlites,
“It was in recognition of governor Bago’s developmental giant stride in the state that, the intertribal groups in the state set aside this week Thursday and Friday as part of democracy celebration to stage.on peace.ad.security through the international peace foundation.at Justice Legbo Kutigi international confrence center MINNA.”
High Chief Casmiar Jp, said, part of activities lined up includes the grand pillars of peace awards on governor Umar Bago who will also be the special guest of honour while RTD Col Sani Bello is to receive award, for their outstanding quality on the peace,Unity, security and Entrepreneurship to the people.
There will also be unveiling of a book titled”Buhari -Osinbanjo success story,A hand book on good governance volume one in commemoration of Democracy day in promotion of good governance.
Personalities to grace the occasion includes Alh Aliko Dangote, Chairman Dangote group of companies to serve as the chief presenter,Major Hamza Al- Mustafa RTD former National security adviser will also grace the occasion.
The ceremony is organised by International peace foundation a Non governmental organization in collaboration with state Ministry of Home Land security, Ministry of Nomadic and pastoral affairs, and Gregory University Uturu.
