Niger,NGO to revitalize primary Education inaugurated in New Bussa.

An NGO known as Jakada of Borgu youth Vanguard In Niger state has been inaugurated in New Bussa  to  enhance quality of education, job training for teachers and promoting youth entrepreneurship.

Inaugurating the organisation at the Feby Hotel confrence hall at New Bussa ,the permanent member four in the Niger state Universal Basic Education board, (NSUBEB)Hon Abdulrazak Muazu Jikantoro, said  the gesture is aimed at creating self reliance amongst the young people.

Hon. Mu’azu Jikantoro who is the patron and Jakada of Borgu highlighted the achievements of the agency under the leadership of Subeb Chairman Aih. Baba Ahmed. As part of their efforts to address the challenges faced by primary school teachers in the state.

“Part of steps taken is to assess and evaluate the problems in the  zone and create a conducive learning environment for youth to be equip on the challenges ahead with a view to make them self sustainable.”

He emphasized that the current team in Subeb is determined to change the narrative by improving infrastructure, providing necessary teaching and learning materials, and enhance teachers’ welfare.

Abdulrazak re-enphasised that due to  governor Umaru Bago’s dedication to primary Educatuon the welfare of teachers, the  7.5 percent owed will be refunded to them soon.

In his address at the occasion, the president of the association,Com Awall Musa described the patron as a philanthropist and God fearing individual whose gestures are worthy of emulation and thank him for his financial support to the association.

The Chairman of the occasion, Alh. Suleiman Kilishi Yerima,commended the Jakada of BORGU for his foresight in ensuring that Borgu communities benefitted from the  educational programs of Governor Umar Bago

He however expressed gratitude to the SUBEB member for his support in ensuring that the 135 newly appointed teachers by the council chairman, Suleiman Yerima, are recognized.
