Gov. Idris appoints 3 New District Heads in Gwandu and Argungu Emirates

The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu has approved the appointment of three New District Heads in Gwandu and Arugungu Emirates.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Hon. Commissioner, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Garba Umar-Dutsinmari, which was made available to Newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday.

He explained that the three new district heads are Umar Isah Yakubu Kangiwa as the new district head of Chibike (Mai Arewa Chibike), Mamuda Bello Marafan Dolekaina ( Marafan Dolekaina) and Prof. Tijjani M. Bande as the district head of Besse.

The Commissioner quoted the Governor as saying that the new district heads were appointed based on merit and excellent track records.

While congratulating them for the new appointment, the commissioner admonished the new district heads to be dedicated and committed to their respective responsibilities.
