Niger state Nomadic to create atmosphere of peace

Niger State Ministry of Normadic and Pastorial Affairs says it is more than ready to create an atmosphere of peace and understanding among farmers and herders inorder to curb the incessant clashes that has hampered peaceful coexistence among them in the state.
The Commissioner, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Sanda Rabe, told our correspondent that the ministry remained committed by working very hard to change the narrative of the past, considering the New Niger Agenda of the present administration of Governnor Mohammed Umaru Bago.
He noted with concerned that many decades of our corporate existence as a nation and people with common ties that bind us together which is love for each other, was fast fading.
The commissioner observed that due to this anomalies, the ministry within 24 hours, responds to calls and yearnings to clashes and misunderstanding with a view of positive response to stem the tide of crisis in some areas of the state.
According to him our efforts is yeilding positive results in the state and this has drastically reduced farmer/herder crisis for the past one year and commended Farmer governor’s commitments towards promoting peaceful co-existence among various communities in the state and employed the youths to close ranks towards achieving NewNiger Agenda of the administration to promote peace and togetherness at all times.
