A 36 years old Digital artist, in Niger State,Mr Emphrain Adayilo Gwamna, has decried the incessant activities of armed banditsĀ  in his communities calling on the security forces to as a matter of urgency come to their resque .
He said the activities of armed bandits in recent times has already displaced most family from their homes as most of them now sheltered in Internally Displaced Person Camp (IDP)Ā  within Gwada in Shiroro Local GovernmentĀ  andĀ  other neighboring community.
He disclosed that as a result of unwholesome incessant attacks on his community, residents have now abandoned their homes for fear of the continued attacks on Locals.
Mr Adayilo Gwamna who raised the alarm in an interview with newsmen in Minna explained that in the last four months residents ofĀ  Gidanwaya, Guni and Sarkin Pawa in Muya Local Government area of Niger State have suffered attacks in the hands of armed bandits.
According to the Digital artist, he has lost some of his beloved ones and relatives to the bandits in the early part of March this year as a result of the Insecurity in the area.
He disclosed further that in one of the attacks carried out by the deadly armed bandits he has to abandoned his family and now taken refuge in Madala area in Suleja local government area.
” Since the attacks was launched on our Community, I cannot reach out to my family. I don’t know their where about now until last two Months ( August) that I was told that my wife and children have relocated to Minna to stay with her brother” he stated.
Already, he explained that their Community is now a ghost town as residents have completely abandoned their ancestral home for fear of the activities of armedĀ  bandits.
Speaking further, Mr Ephraim Gwamna who looked visibly disturbed told Journalists that the incessant attacks on their Community has forced farmers to abandoned their farmlands this farming seasonĀ  describing the trends as painful.
” As a result of the deadly activities of these armed men, my people were forced to abandon their farm this farming season
” We are in a painful moodĀ  with the Unwholesome activities of armed bandits. We have suffered untold attacks in the hands of these terrorist group. We have now turned to refugees in our own land” he told Journalists in an emotional laden tune.
He then appealed to Niger State governor Umar Mohammed Bago to as a matter of necessity deploy security forces to their Community to safeguard them.
