Assorted Food items worth Millions of Naira was distributed to Victims of the five Communities affected In the  recent flood disaster by Dr Joshua  Audu GANA representing Lavun,Edati and Mokwa federal constituencies of Niger state.

The benefiting Communities are ,Muregi,Gbara,Gbajibo, Jebba and Ja’agi in Niger state.

Distributing the commodities to the Village heads of the Communities ‘Dr Joshua Gana, said such efforts is part of his Characteristics of comforting those who are  in desparate needs of assistance.

” i will continue to do it, again and again to my Constituency of Lavun, Edati and Mokwa hence my representation should  not be seen as a cosmetics,but the type that feels the pulse of the people”.

“As a representative  of the people distribution  of this food items is a demonstration of compassion and my commitment to the people of the constituents who needs quick intervention at this trying time thus distribution  of relief materials to flood victims across the constituency is Paramount”

Joshua noted that as a member representing the good people of  Lavun, Edati and Mokwa local government areas was aware that this year’s rainy season wreaked havoc in several riverine communities, destroying homes and farmlands.

“As a responsive people’s representatives i have no option than to stepped in to provide much-needed succour to the affected individuals., the  relief items distributed included essential food supplies such as rice, maize, tomatoes, spaghetti, groundnut oil, and seasonings.

Dr GANA further explained that Communities like Muregi, Gbara, Gbajibo,Jebba, and Ja’agi are the  benefiting communities as part of humanitarian commitment and directed that the materials be channeled directly to the victims through their respective village heads, and warned  in ensuring an efficient and fair distribution procedures.

In their remarks the village heads lauded Hon. Gana’s proactive leadership and commitment to the welfare of his people, describes him as a genuine representative of the masses and offered prayers for his continued success and greater heights in his political carrier.

At the  event a stalwarts of the people’s Democratic party PDP Hon. Mohammed Imam the state Assistant Organising Secretary, praised Hon. Gana’s efforts, calling him a patriotic leader dedicated to improving the wellbeing of his constituents.
