It has been asserted that no one on earth can retire from death,it is an inevitable phenomenon that can not be compared to working in public service, even as accumulation of wealth is vanity.

The most Rev, Daniel Yisa Bishop of Minna who is also the Arch Bishop of Lokoja Province stated this recently while delivering sermon at the funeral service of late Baba  Abel Dangana at St Andrews Anglican Church Katamba Bologi in Edati local government area of Niger state.

The Arch Bishop who focusses his sermon from the Books of Psalms 116 vs 15,and  Genesis 25 vs 8, said death is a precious thing in the sight of the Lord by a faithful servant,he however advocated Christians to be faithful and follow the path of righteousness.

Bishop Daniel further explained that people cry after death and  gather to show their sadness just like Abraham breathed his last breath and died at a good old age, as we are now witnessesing that of  our farther,grand farther BaBA Abel Dangana Shema who died on the 16 December 2024.

” Late Baba Abel has died a fulfill life has illustrated good example during his life therefore we should all start preparing devoid of wealth accumulation, whatever you do on this earth you must die and give account”.Bishop Daniel re-enphasised.

Late Baba Abel Dangana Shema died on December 16 2024 at the age of 119,1905 to 2024 buried on December 23 2024 at Katamba Bologi amongst his Children is the,Chief of Katamba Bologi Mr Theophilus Shema and Bishop of Kutigi Anglican Diocese the headquarters of Lavun local government, Bishop Jeremiah Ndana Kolo and other clergy men in the farmily and 20 grand Children.

Late Baba Abel Dangana Shema was born to the farmily of Baba Shema, his grandfather’s name was Kolo born in Ntakogi- Sakpe in Edati local government area though the exact date of birth could not be ascertain,Pa Abel popularly known as Shabako was married to late Mrs Alice Lade Shema.

Clergy men at the funeral service include the Bishops of Bida,Doko,Kontagora , Venerable Jacob Ndakotsu,Ven Jeremiah Mamman,Rev Philip Shema and Rev Abraham Banje,Archdeacons,Cannons, priest as well as CateChrist Agents.
