Gov. Idris is the pillar of Kebbi politics – ALGON

The Chairman, Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Kebbi State branch, Alhaji Mohammed Dahiru Nayahy-Ambursa has described the Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris as the pillar of Kebbi State Politics.

He made the disclosure on Monday while briefing newsmen shortly after the 21 Local Government Chairmen met with the Governor at Government House, Birnin Kebbi.

Nayaya-Ambursa, who is also the chairman, Birnin-Kebbi Local Government Area of the state, observed that the legacies of the present administration was a pointer to the indelible mark already made in the sand of history.

“His Excellency, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris has already written his name in gold as far as history of Kebbi is concerned. These legacies prompted us to described him as a staunch pillar of Kebbi State Politics.

“Our commitment to this administration is based on the series of dividends of democracy delivered to the good people of Kebbi State by our amiable governor.

“Your Excellency, it is your attitude and your hard work that attracted us to rally round supporting your administration. Your actions have testified that you are a man of the people, you have given all a sense of belonging irrespective of tribe, religion or political leaning,” he said.

Nayaya-Ambursa assured that all the 21 local government chairmen were satisfied and happy to be associated with the policies and programmes of the present administration.

“In view of that, we have unanimously endorsed you for a second term of another four years to enable you bring more positive development to our dear state,” he assured.

The chairman then urged the people of the state to continue to support the present government to pave way for the attainment of set goals and objectives.
