NSCDC to establish an outpost at Diko Niger state.

The Niger state Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Commandant Adamu Abdullahi Kambra, said the Command is to establish out post at Diko Junction.
The Commandant disclosed this on Thursday when he visited the District Head of Diko and victims of the recent tanker explosion incident.
The Commandant expressed his heartfelt condolences to the District Head, and the people of Diko, the families of the victims.
He said based on the emergency attaches to the incident the Command immediately contacted the relevant security outfits for prompt action.
The Commandant Adamu informed the district head that his visit was aimed to assess the damage caused as a result of the explosion.
“There is the need to establish an outpost of NSCDC here taking into consideration the traffic flow in this Abuja -Kaduna road.”
” I have sought permission from the Commandant General Alh Ahmed Abubakar to establish an NSCDC outpost here at Diko to support the existing Area Command’s and Divisions to ugument the quick response tactics”.
The Commandant appreciated the Commandant General’s continuous support to the Niger state Command and commended Governor Umar Bago’s swift response to the incident, adding that the command is ever ready to safeguard the life’s and properties of the citizens.
He however prayed that such incidents would not occur again and assured the District Head and the public that the Command is always there to serve the public and combat ready for any emergency..
