Niger Speaker, Amb. Malami, others condole ex SSG, Prof. Kuta Yahaya over mother’s
death

Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly, Abdulmalik Sarkin Daji said that late Hajiya Fatima Yawo Yahaya, mother of Prof. Muhammad Kuta Yahaya, Secretary, Presidential Livestock Reforms Implementation Committee lived an accomplished and fulfilled life.
Sarkin Daji said this to newsmen shortly after the funeral prayers of late Yawo- Yahaya at Patibokugi in Lavun Local Government Area of the state.
The speaker urged Prof. Kuta Yahaya, who is also the Pro Chancellor, Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna and the entire family to bear the loss with courage.
“It is a life well spent. It has not been actually easy. We pray that May Allah accept her soul and admit her in Aljanatu firdausi,” he added.
He said the decased inculcated moral and other positive values in her children.
“Late Fatima took us as her children. She was always there for us.
“May Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljanatu firdausi,” he prayed
Also, Amb. Shehu Malami Ma’aji, Ambassador on Intergovernmental Affairs, African Region, International Human Rights Commission, Abuja, condoled with the former Secretary to the Niger Government over the loss.
He said that late Fatima lived a fulfilled life while alive.
He urged Prof. Yahaya, former Secretary to the Niger State Government under ex Gov. Muazu Babangida Aliyu’s led administration and the entire family to take solace in God.
“I want everybody to learn and emulate from What Prof.Yahaya has done to his late mother. Prof. Yahaya has been of so much care about his mother.
“Whatever he does, he remembered the mother which is a good one,” he said.
Amb. Malami prayed God to forgive her shortcomings and grant her eternal rest.
On their parts, Dr Ibrahim Zubairu Tswachi, the National President, Wushishi Old students Association and Dr Abubakar Usman, Managing Director of Federal Medical Centre Bida, described the deceased as God-send and would be missed by all.
Prof M A Paiko, Vice Chancellor, Abdulkadir Kure University Minna, Dr Nasir Sani Gwarzo , immediate past Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education and Alhaji Sani Garba, CEO/ Business Visa, Abuja, all eulogized late Yawo Yahaya for her motherly advice.
They called on the bereaved family to uphold the cherished ideals of community service, kindness and generosity associated with the matriarch of the Yahaya Kuta family
According to them, “we are all very aggrieved and we feel that the passage of Hajiya Fatima Yawo is not just your loss but our collective loss.
They described the deceased as an exemplary mother who raised two professors that had contributed immensely to the nation’s development.
They said that though her death was a huge loss, the family should be consoled by the fact that she lived a life of devotion to God and service to humanity.
They therefore urged Prof. Yahaya to be consoled and strengthened by the long life she lived, the comfort and support she provided.
