Ex-Rep. Legbo-Kutigi lauds Gov. Bago’s visionary leadership

Hon. Sani Legbo- Kutigi, a former House of Representatives who represented Lavun, Mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency has commended Gov. Umaru Bago’s visionary leadership.

He has also extolled the Governor’s unwavering commitment towards transforming Niger into a world-class model.

The former lawmaker stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna on Tuesday.

“This is evident in the way and manner he has been diligently handling the affairs of the state from May 2023 to date.

Legbo-Kutigi noted that the Governor’s initiative will have a lasting impact on the people of the state and the country in general.

He said, “you are indeed a God-sent leader, bringing transformative change a d hope to the people of Nigeria State.

“Your dedication to development and progress is truly inspiring, your initiatives will have a lasting impact”, the ex-lawmaker averred.

“He has been initiating countless policies and programmes aimed at further propelling the state to greater heights, “he said.

According to him, Bago has embarked on various developmental projects aimed at evenly transforming Niger.

Legbo-Kutigi listed some of these tangible and laudable projects, including several road networks across the state.

“These projects are aimed at linking all parts of the state with the other parts of Nigeria.

“This is with the view to bolstering the socioeconomic development of the state to boost its prosperity and that of the citizens,” he said.

 

The former house of representative member further said that the projects included those on water supply, education, health and various key infrastructures.

He said that bago`s administration would initiate more projects and complete them strongly.

“Bago is committed to boosting the economy of the state and diversifying its revenue base. He has been giving agriculture the priority attention it deserves.

“This has stabilised the state’s food security, combating hunger, poverty and unemployment,“he said.

Legbo-Kutigi however, commended the Governor’s effort to initiate the construction of 2,000 kilometers of roads in the state, with focus on connecting communities and boosting economic growth.

According to him, the construction of Minna -Bida dual carriageway and Bida ring roads and recent launching of 20 years Bida development brochure as well as road construction network across all the local government areas is highly commendable.

Legbo-Kutigi, then, wished Gov Mohammed Umaru-Bago more strength, sound health, wisdom and success as he continues with the service of making Niger State great again.
