GOVERNOR BAGO APPOINTS HON. DANJUMA ABDUL MASU AS CHAIRMAN, NIGER STATE SPORTS COMMISSION
In a decisive move to bolster Sports development in Niger State, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has approved the appointment of Hon. Danjuma Abdul Masu as the pioneer Chairman of the Niger State Sports Commission.
A statement issued by Alhaji Abubakar Usman, Secretary to the State Government (SSG) disclosed that the strategic appointment underscores the administration’s commitment to revitalizing Sports infrastructure, fostering talent development and positioning Niger State as a hub for athletic excellence in the country.
The statement emphasized that the appointment of Hon. Danjuma Abdul Masu aligns with the present administration’s vision to harness the immense Sports potential of Niger State and position the State as a leading hub for Sports excellence in Nigeria.
The statement expressed confidence that the pioneer Chairman possesses the requisite experience, passion, and leadership qualities to transform the Sports landscape of Niger State.
Farmer Governor reiterated that Sports remain a critical pillar of his administration’s strategy to reduce unemployment, promote social cohesion, and elevate Niger State’s profile on the national Sports stage, said the statement.
