NIGER GOVERNMENT MOURNS THE PASSING OF DISTINGUISHED SENATOR IBRAHIM MUSA
The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman has expressed deep sorrow on behalf of the Government and people of the State over the demise of former Senator Ibrahim Musa, who represented Niger North Senatorial District.
Senator Musa passed away today in Abuja after a brief illness, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated service to his people and the nation at large.
In a heartfelt condolence message, Alhaji Abubakar Usman extended the State Government’s sympathies to the Emir of Kontagora, Alhaji Muhammad Barau Mu’azu II, the entire Kontagora Emirate and the family of the late senator.
The SSG described Senator Musa as a committed leader, a bridge-builder and a patriotic statesman whose contributions to the development of Niger State and Nigeria will be remembered for years to come.
“The Government and people of Niger State mourn the loss of a distinguished leader who served with integrity, passion and unwavering dedication. Senator Ibrahim Musa’s passing is a great loss not only to Kontagora Emirate but to the entire State and the nation. We pray that Almighty Allah grants him eternal rest and gives his family, the Emirate and all who mourn him the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” the SSG stated.
