NIGER SSG HAILS ETSU NUPE’S LEADERSHIP ON HIS 73RD BIRTHDAY
The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman, has conveyed the heartfelt congratulations of the State Government and the entire people of Niger State to His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Yahaya Abubakar, CFR, the Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, on the occasion of his 73rd birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message issued in Minna, the SSG described the revered monarch as a quintessential symbol of peace, unity and progress whose two decades on the throne have brought immense development and stability to the Nupe Kingdom and Niger State at large.
Alhaji Usman praised the Etsu Nupe for his exceptional wisdom and his pivotal role as the Chairman of the State Council of Traditional Rulers, noting that his counsel has been an invaluable asset to the administration of His Excellency, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago.
His Royal Highness’s life is a testament to dedicated service, exemplary leadership and an unwavering commitment to the growth of our State and the nation. He has masterfully blended the preservation of our rich cultural heritage with the advocacy for modern development, serving as a bridge between the past and the future, Alhaji Usman stressed.
“On behalf of the Government and the entire people of Niger State, we thank Almighty Allah for his life of impact and pray that He grants him many more years in good health and strength to continue his selfless service to humanity,” the SSG stated.
He reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to a strong partnership with the traditional institution under the leadership of the Etsu Nupe to ensure continued peace and accelerated development across all Emirates in the State.
Alhaji Usman revealed that the present administration under the leadership of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago is leaving no stone unturned in fostering sustainable development, peace and prosperity for all citizens through good governance and inclusive policies.
