Etsu Nupe mourns brother, Fogun Nupe

The Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, has expressed deep shock over the death of his younger brother, Alhaji Ibrahim Kudu, the Fogun Nupe.
Alhaji Abubakar, in a condolence message on Thursday, described the death of Alhaji Kudu, who passed away on Wednesday, as painful, shocking, and a great loss to the Nupe Kingdom and Niger State at large.
The royal father described the late Fogun Nupe as a pious, loyal, hardworking, and dedicated brother, who served the emirate and humanity with sincerity and humility.
According to him, the deceased was deeply committed to the progress of the Nupe people and contributed immensely to the peaceful coexistence and development of the emirate.
“The deceased showed love to the people in our domain, irrespective of tribe or religious inclination,
God has His reason for calling him home at this point in time, as the people of the emirate have enjoyed his wisdom and advice, which will be greatly missed,” the Etsu Nupe said.
The Etsu Nupe, who spoke with visible emotion, noted that the death of his yonger brother was not only a personal loss to the royal family but also to the entire Bida emirate.
He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Alhaji Kudu, grant him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdous, and give the family, the royal household, and the people of the emirate the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Late Alhaji Ibrahim Kudu was until his death the Fogun Nupe and a respected member of Etsu Usman Zaki ruling house.
