Niger Branch of nigeria Redcross society urged to consolidate on gains of the past leaders
The newly elected executives members of Niger Branch of the Nigerian Red cross society have been charged to consolidate on the gains and achievements of the past leaders of the Branch.
The National Disaster Adviser of the Nigerian Redcross society, Dr. Adamu Babale gave the charge while speaking shortly after he monitored and conducted the election of members into various offices of the Branch held today at the Branch Secretariat in minna.
He said the new Excos should always put it at the back of their minds that Redcross is all about serving humanity to the best of their ability.
Dr.Adamu Babale advised them to be committed in the discharge of their humanitarian service to the people in line with the seven basic fundamental principles of the society.
The National Disaster Adviser of the Nigerian Redcross society appealed to the new leadership of the Branch to carry everyone along in the scheme of things for effective service delivery.
Dr.Adamu Babale who described the election of Niger Branch as peaceful , devoid of Rancour or hitches advised members and volunteers of the branch to support the new leadership of the branch to enable it succeed.
In his post election speech, the newly elected Chairman of Niger Branch, Barrister Shehu Imam Danmasani thanked the delegates and other stakeholders of the branch for the confidence reposed in him and promised to live above board.
Barrister Shehu Imam Danmasani also assured members in the state of prudent, excellent and purposeful leadership that will guarantee the growth and development of Niger Branch.
He said Niger Branch under his watch will work with vigour and sincerity of purpose for the Branch to regain it’s lost glory as one of the best in terms of human capital development.
In his farewell address,the immediate past Chairman of the Branch,Alhaji Hamisu Musa Jankaro who congratulated the new Executives admonished them to work towards fighting indiscipline amongst our members and volunteers in the Branch.
The oath of office and oath of allegiance was administered on the new executives shortly after receiving their certificates or return which was presented to them by the chairman Electoral Committee of the election.
