Youth asked to give Gov Bago support in his rural development drive-.Nma.

Youths in Lavun  local government area of Niger state  have been told to give their maximum support to Farmer governor Umar Bago on his rural development agenda to guide against rural Urban drift.

They have also been asked to give workers of Rural Access and Agricultural marketing project (RAAMP) working at road construction sites spread in various  Communities in the state.

The state Director General of RAAMP, Ambassador Nma Ahmed stated this at ongoing rural road construction sites he visited over the weekend.

He said  his visits to the sites is to know the extent of work being carried out at the sites,and praised the tireless efforts and professional ability of Engineers in ensuring the projects are constructed according to specifications.

At One of the communities visited, the village head of Gbangbagi, Mallam Ndana Mayaki described Governor Umar Bago’s proactive action within two weeks that the community experience the partial flooding at the bridge as leadership qualities.

According to the village head Engineers were drafted to the site to assess the extent of damage immediately at the bridge,the prompt action  by the government is humane and an indication that the governor meant well for rural development.

D G admonished youths as leaders of tommorow to support governor Umar Bago who is dedicated and committed to give rural dwellers hope by feeling the impact of governance in line  with renewed hope agenda.

Nma however reinterated Governor’ Umar Bago’s initiative in making rural communities in all the 25 local government areas to be self sustainable and be economically viable through farm products.

Communities visited by the Director general in Lavun government areas includes,Patishin -Doko masalaci,10km road,Doko-Gabasheshi 14 .43 km and Gbangbagi Bridge reconstruction.
