L G election, prove your fairness irrespective of political affiliations,- Gimba.

A Clarion call have been made to Governor Umar Bago of Niger state to be fair and just to all political parties participating in the forth coming local government councils election.
Usman Alhaji Gimba a Chairmanship candidate under the platform of the people’s Democratic party PDP in Mokwa local government area of Niger state stated this in a chat yesterday with Journalist in Minna.
He said as the governor of Niger state all eyes will be on him to ensure justice and fairness to everyone irrespective of political differences,adding that the forth coming local government election will judge how fairness the governor is to Nigerlites.
“What iam saying is that, the governor should not interfere with the forth coming local government elections by declaring other political parties winner, instead of the AP C rulling party takes all,this can be done when votes are truely counted.”Gimba re-enphasised.
Alh Usman who was also a Councillor and a retired air force officer pointed out that his ambition to contest the Chairmanship position is to bring back the lost glory of Mokwa local government interms of development and commercial activities.
” Mokwa- was a commercial center of both North and south where travellers from this part of the country stop over for recreational dishes,my intention is to revive it to boost more revenue to the council.”
On the recent crisis involving the National assembly member representing Lavun Edati and Mokwa federal constituency,Hon Joshua’ Audu GANA , Usman expresses his disappointment over the attitude of some political members that over excergerated what transpired when he paid a Sallah homage.
“For us in PDP, we are lucky to have person like Joshua’ who have proved to us that he is an outstanding politician whose performance can not be compared to the previous National assembly members of Lavun, Edati and Mokwa federal constituency.”
“Those making noise against Joshua’ Audu are truely ignorant about his performance, there are many projects on the ground to see,like construction of primary schools,motorise boreholes, electrification projects others to mention a few.”
Alh Usman however advise Nigerians to rally round PDP to bring back the lost glory of the Nation for stability in economy and over all development of the country.
