NIGER SSG MOURNS THE PASSING OF FORMER SECRETARY TO THE STATE GOVERNMENT, MR. DANIEL CLIFFORD SHASHERE
The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman has received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of the former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Daniel Clifford Shashere.
The SSG in his condolence message expressed profound grief over the demise of late Daniel Shashere, describing it as a monumental loss to the State and the nation at large.
According to Alhaji Usman, “On behalf of the Government and the people of Niger State, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Shashere family, friends, associates, and the entire Niger State community on this irreparable loss”.
He remarked that Mr. Shashere was not merely a public servant; he was a visionary leader whose contributions to the development of the State remain indelible in our collective memory.
During his tenure as Secretary to the State Government, he demonstrated exceptional administrative acumen, unwavering integrity, and an uncommon dedication to the progress of our dear state, the SSG revealed.
His leadership was characterized by remarkable efficiency in coordinating Government activities, fostering inter-ministerial collaboration, and ensuring the effective implementation of State policies and programmes. Under his watch, the office of the Secretary to the State Government became a model of excellence in public service delivery, the SSG added.
Alhaji Usman stressed that beyond his official duties, Mr. Shashere was a compassionate humanitarian who consistently advocated for the welfare of civil servants and the broader citizenry.
