No one can pay back to God, former IGP- Okiro.

Former inspector general of police IGP,,Dr Mike Okiro urged Nigerians to love one another irrespective of religion or ethnic background to enhance undiluted development in all aspects of human endeavours.

The former IGP stated this while commissionig a Catholic Church he built and a students dining hall at police secondary school in Minna,the Niger State Capital over the weekend.

Okiro who also celebrated his birth day at the police secondary school Minna after the commissioning of the Catholic Church said,”it is a thing of joy for God to keep him to commission the Church,’ this is an act of giving back to God out of numerous things given to us free.

” No one can pay back to God what he has done in our life for free,” you can’t build,cook food for God to eat or buy a car for him to drive,this is a legacy worthy of emulation by Nigerians,I have build a Mosque in Jos when I was a police Commissioner in plateau State”.

” I believe in oneness devoid of religious bigotry”adding that Nigeria has gone along way living together as brothers and sisters,it is time we embrace one another for our nation to prosper,”,Okiro emphasised.

In his address at the occasion,the Commandant of police secondary school MINNA,CSP Haruna Ibrahim appreciates the former AIG for his contribution to humanity and God particularly for chosen to celebrate his birthday with the students and staff of the police secondary school.

” It is not easy to locate somebody like former AIG Okiro who as a Christian build a Church and a mosque for people here in MINNA and plateau State,this is worthy of emulation by both the young and elders”.

CSP Ibrahim pointed out that the three of his Children who are now medical doctor ,a pilot and a lawyer graduated from the school”this is an honour for giving back to the school,”the school has realise over 15 million Naira to build Dr Mike Okiro’s boys hostel.

Responding to his kind gesture, the catholic Bishop of MINNA, most Rev Martin Igwe thanked Dr Mike Okiro’ for making the two popular religion to be proud of him, prayed for more wisdom and guidance in his endeavours.
