Minister of Sports Development Commiserates with Family and SWAN over Death of Ignatius Ajonuma
The Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, has expresses his profound sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the family of Ignatius Ajonuma, as well as the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), following the passing of one of Nigeria’s most prominent sports journalists and media personalities.

“I am deeply saddened by the news of Ignatius Ajonuma’s passing,” the Minister said. Inspite of the challenges that surrounded him, he was never put down by them.”
The Minister continued, “Ignatius Ajonuma’s contributions to sports journalism have been invaluable in promoting Nigerian athletes and sporting events both locally and internationally. He was a trailblazer and a true sports enthusiast.”
