Niger Daily Times correspondent buried in Illorin amidst tears.

    The  correspondent Chapel  of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ)Niger state chapter received with shock the death of their members Saka Babatunde Bolaji of Daily times newspaper in the early hours of Tuesday in Minna after a brief illness.

   Until his death, Saka Bolaji. Worked with the Standard,and The Monitor Newspaper, after serving the Herald Newspaper of Kwara State.

    In a statement signed by the Chairman and secretary of the Correspondent Chapel, Yakubu Mustapha Bina and Daniel Atori, said Late Saka  died at his residence at Kongila behind Jumai Babangida Aliyu Neo-natal hospital, Minna was accompanied to his hometown in Ilorin, Kwara state where he is buried according to Islamic rites yesterday Tuesday..

    The late Saka, according to the family sources died at the age of 70 years, began his journalistic carrier with Kwara state owned media outfit Herald Newspaper and was posted  to Lagos and Benin Edo State respectively,and later back to Illorin and posted to Niger State.

   Correspondent Chapel  prayed for the repose of the soul of Saka before the corpse left MINNA to illorin at his residence,and as well prayed for the members of the media to bear the irreparable lost.
