DEPUTY GOVERNOR YAKUBU GARBA EULOGIES EMIR OF MINNA AT 67th  AND 36 YEARS ON THE THRONE.

Deputy Governor of Niger state Comrade Yakubu Garba on Tuesday pour Encomiun on the the Emir of Minna, HRH. Dr. Alhaji Umar Farouk Bahago MON, as he clocks 67 years and also 36 years on the throne as the Emir of Minna.

In a press statement issued by the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Ummikhaltume Abdullahi Kuta, dated 5th March 2024 a copy of which was made available to this medium described the the Emir as a leader who has demonstrated an uncommon exemplary leadership in uplifting the lives of his subjects, especially in the education sector through the Emirate Educational Program.

According to the statement “while celebrating the birthday of the Emir of Minna, we must reflect not only on his sincerity and compassion but indepth of his empathy to his subjects in the discharge of his responsibility and duty as first class traditional ruler.”

The statement also add that ” As we are praying for good and sound health for the Emir, the Deputy Governor urged Umar Faruk Bahago to continue with his good leadership style that will unite and bring peaceful coexistence among the people of Minna Emirate.”

The Emir of Minna, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Umar Farooq Bahago, was born about 67 years ago, 5th March 1957. He ascended to the throne on 5th March 1988, about 36 years ago, and received his staff of office on the same day.
